Coaching

Coaching built around you.

You can know what you should do on court and still struggle to do it when it matters. Pressure, doubt, fear of disappointing others or frustration can sometimes take up more space than the game itself. This is where I want to support you: understanding your experience and building meaningful reference points together.

I bring together tennis, mental preparation and self-understanding. I am interested in how you play, what motivates you, what you expect of yourself and how you experience competition. Whether you are a player, parent, coach or representative of a tennis organisation, I begin with a conversation about your situation and what you would like to change.

Tell me about your situation
01 — Getting to know you

Before offering advice, I want to understand you.

For me, a score cannot tell the whole story of a match. I want to understand how you experienced it: when you felt free, when you began to doubt, what you told yourself after an error and what you expected from that match. I also explore the context around your tennis, your goals and the place your family and coach have in your journey.

This conversation helps me suggest a suitable starting point. It might be a specific difficulty, such as recovering concentration after an error, or a broader question about confidence and enjoyment. You do not need to arrive with a perfect explanation of what is holding you back. I take time to explore it with you, through situations you recognise.

02 — Putting it into practice

Connect what you understand with what you do on court.

Understanding a reaction is a beginning. The next step is to explore what you can do when it happens. Depending on your needs, I can help you work on how you speak to yourself after an error, a routine for returning to the next point, a practice goal or cues that support a decision under pressure. I help you find actions clear enough to use while playing.

These reference points develop gradually. I look at how you make them your own, where they help and when they still need adjusting. A defeat, a difficult practice or a strong emotion can also help me understand your experience. My aim is to help you understand yourself and become more independent in how you respond, make decisions and move forward.

A place for each person

The player and their whole environment.

You are a player

You may recognise this gap: in practice, you feel your game, take chances and enjoy playing. Then a match begins and something tightens up. Or you are improving, but certain reactions keep returning and draining your energy. I help you put words to your experience, notice what triggers those reactions and explore responses that fit you. I take your level, your ambitions and your everyday reality into account, without asking you to become someone else.

You are a parent

When you care about your child, you want to help. Yet it is not always easy to know what to say after a defeat, when to encourage them or when to give them space. I invite you to reflect on your place beside them: understanding their needs, hearing their experience and stepping back from your own expectations too. I help you find a way to support their development and independence while protecting your relationship beyond tennis.

You are a coach

You can give the same instruction to two players and see very different reactions. One needs to understand why; another needs a simple cue or a reassuring framework. I help you explore those differences to refine your communication, the way you set goals and the feedback you give. The aim is to enrich your practice with a closer understanding of the person, so your intentions and instructions can be better received.

Supporting players across your organisation.

Do you represent a club, academy or tennis organisation? I take time to understand your audience, your team’s needs and your project goals. Support can focus on a group of players, mental preparation or communication between players, parents and coaches.

Tell me about your project: the audience, number of participants, location and intended timing. I will then arrange a conversation to discuss what would be useful, a possible format and the fee.

Discuss my organisation’s project
In practice, on court

Start with what you experience.

I do not start with a formula. I start with a situation that matters to you. Here are some topics I can help you explore.

01

You are developing a project for a club, academy or tennis organisation.

I help you clarify player and coaching-team needs: motivation, mental preparation, communication or relationships with parents. The audience, format and arrangements are discussed in an initial conversation.

02

You play freely in practice, less freely in matches.

I explore what changes when the stakes rise: results pressure, thoughts between points and trust in your decisions. I help you find reference points you can return to in competition.

03

One mistake turns into several.

I look at what happens after an error: frustration, self-judgement, rushing or doubt. The aim is to build a routine that fits the way you react.

04

You want to support your child without adding pressure.

I help you explore their motivations and your own, adjust your words and distinguish a need for encouragement from a need for space.

05

The same instruction does not work for every player.

I help you explore how to phrase instructions, set goals and give feedback around the way each player works.

A framework, not a label

The profile offers insight. Conversation adds detail.

The Enneagram gives me starting points to explore your motivations, fears and reactions. I connect those with your tennis, your environment and the situations you face.

From there, I can adapt between-point routines, the way a goal is set or the words used after an error. I observe what actually helps you and adjust my coaching.

The questionnaire is optional. It opens a reflection; it does not replace listening or observation over time.

03 — Building the next steps

Find the support that fits you, together.

You may want to work on one specific issue or feel you need support over time. I discuss this with you around your goals, your pace and what you are ready to put into practice. A focused conversation can concentrate on one question; more regular support gives me space to observe changes, revisit your experiences and adjust reference points over time.

After your enquiry, I review your situation and get back to you through your chosen contact method. I discuss your needs and the format and duration of support with you. I then explain the corresponding fee. The form below simply opens that conversation: tell me what you are experiencing, what you have already tried and what you would like to change.

The first step

Tell me about your goals.

A few words are enough to get started. We will discuss your tennis and the coaching format together.
